White Villages + Ronda Weekend Getaway

Day 1: White Villages

Meet your driver for the drive west through the mountains to the White Villages. Discover a small corner of Spain where traditional village life goes on as it has for thousands of years. Begin in Casabermeja at a historic olive oil mill visit with breakfast. Then, continue to Setenil de las Bodegas. Meet your guide here for a tour of the streets under boulders and cave houses. We’ll take a break for lunch at a countryside winery just outside Ronda. After lunch, take an afternoon tour of Ronda, once capital of an Arabic Taifa-Here you will visit Mondragón Palace and S. Juan Bosco House. Once across the bridge, your guide will continue the tour down cobblestone streets past the St. Nicolas Minaret and into the House of the Moorish King.

After this intensive day, get into your hotel to rest and prepare for the next day.

Day 2: Bulls and Horses

Meet your driver midmorning for the ride to Reservatauro, a working bull and horse ranch. See the animals in their natural environment. Head back to your city with a stop for lunch.
