The South Olé tour of Ronda starts in the birthplace of bullfighting. The Ronda bullring has staged some of the most important events in bullfighting history. We’ll go inside to step into the matador’s shoes. Later stroll along the edge of high cliffs overlooking the fertile countryside. Your guide will lead you across the “New Bridge” built in the 1700’s to span the deep gorge between the new and old parts of Ronda. Once in the Arabic quarters, your guide will continue the tour down the cobblestone streets into the Collegiate Church and the Medieval Palace of Don Bosco. Learn about Moorish customs and the Reconquest by the Catholic Kings.
