Day 1 – ARRIVAL: PORTO

Arrive at Porto Airport from Barcelona and meet your driver for the ride to your hotel. Firstly, meet your guide in the hotel lobby and hop on trams and river boats.  Begin your Portugal tour enjoying Porto’s Eiffel Bridge, port wine and ancient bookshops, chocolate stores and fishermen’s quarters.

Day 2 – BRAGA AND GUIMARAES

Today enjoy a guided tour at Braga and Guimaraes. Firstly, visit Santuario do Bom Jesús do Monte. Then, leave Braga for the short ride to Citania de Briteiros and tour this ruined Celtic town. You can see the small houses built on “blocks” high above the plains.  Secondly, continue to nearby Guimaraes and visit of the castle and the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza. Finally, your guide will order Portugal typical dishes like arroz de cabidela, breaded cod and toucinho-do-ceu. In the afternoon, return to your hotel in Porto.

Day 3 – COIMBRA

Firstly, meet your driver heading to Lisbon stopping at Coimbra and visit the famous UNESCO University. Enter the halls where Portugal’s best studied for centuries. Visit the Joanina Library, with its Baroque ceiling paintings. Peruse books more than a hundred years old. Finally, climb up the university’s tower before walking the old town. After that, have lunch and head onto Lisbon.

Day 4 – LISBON

Today discover Portugal’s capital city: Lisbon. Firstly, meet your guide for a tour of Jeronimo Monastery, Belem Tower and Conven. Follow your guide and enjoy a panoramic tour of Lisbon. Try the custard pastries and tour the city on an easy pace. Finally enjoy a Fado show in the evening and taste the best dinner.

Day 5 – SINTRA

Discover the beauty of Portugal’s nature with your guide. Firstly, drive through Sintra. Once here, visit this beautiful Natural Park, its Palacio da Pena, Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira.  End your day returning to Lisbon in the afternoon.

Day 6 – DEPARTURE

Meet your driver in the hotel lobby for the ride to Lisbon Airport.
