Óbidos, Tomar and Batalha

Meet your driver and guide for a day trip to Óbidos, Tomar and Batalha.  Along the way, we’ll stop in this collection of important Portuguese towns.  First on the list, Obidos, a charming Moorish village just outside Lisbon.  Walk through the old town and see the castle.  Our next stop is Tomar – the home to the Convent of Christ, a Templar Castle.  Visit the castle where Templar knights gathered in their struggle against the Moors. Later follow your guide through the town, it’s small Jewish Quarters and visit the Abraham Zacuto Museum – once the synagogue. On the way back to Lisbon, stop in Batalha to see the interesting Manuelino monastery.

Once you are ready to book, we’ll take a non-refundable 30% booking deposit and start reserving hotels, the best guides, drivers, tickets and activities. You’ll get a specific version of the itinerary with timings, contact information and meeting points. Final payment is 90 days before you arrive.
