Today you will meet your driver for the short ride to Lucena, once known as the Pearl of Sepharad. Sepharad is the Hebrew name for Spain, used in the middle ages before the Jews were expelled. Once you arrive in Lucena, your guide will take you on a tour of the small town. You’ll see that many Jewish symbols and traditions still prevail among the locals. During the tour you will have the opportunity to try some of the delicious pastries that have their origin in a Sephardic recipe. To finish the tour, your guide will take you to visit the castle and Jewish necropolis.
This tour lasts about 8 hours.
