Weekend Getaway to Tarifa and Gibraltar
Day 1
Take a fun weekend getaway to Tarifa and Gibraltar! Meet your driver for the ride down the coast to Gibraltar. Once you arrive at the border the guide will be waiting just past the customs building on the left-hand side of the road in a little parking lot. Your name will be on the vehicle sign. Tour the Rock Nature Preserve, driving up narrow lanes to St. Michael’s Caves. See the Barbary Apes colony and walk down into the Great Siege Tunnels.
Your guide will drop you off at The Waterfront Marina where we will have lunch reserved. You may want to later spend time strolling around Ocean Village or on Main Street or Casemates Square on your own.
When you are ready, return to the Spanish side of the border for the ride to your hotel in Tarifa. Check in and enjoy the chill atmosphere in this little town straddling the Atlantic and Mediterranean.
Day 2
Meet your driver after lunch for the ride back to your city. Along the way, stop in Estepona for a 2-hour sail. You might see dolphins. There will be snacks, drinks, fishing and snorkel equipment on board.
