Discover the Salvador Dalí Museum at Figueres and the magical medieval towns of Girona and Besalù. Your South Olé tour begins with a visit to the surrealist Dalì Museum in Figueres. Then we’ll drive to Girona for a walking tour along the river and Roman walls to the Old Town where you’ll see it’s 11th century cathedral. Enjoy some free time in this city before heading to our final destination of the day. When you arrive in Besalù, cross the drawbridge under the portcullis into this beautifully preserved village from the Middle Ages. See the town’s arch-covered streets, visit a restored Jewish bath from the 12th century and end your tour at the remains of a medieval synagogue.
