This South Olé day trip to the city of Córdoba creates an understanding of how Jews, Christians and Muslims lived together in peace and harmony during the middle Ages. Córdoba was the most scientifically advanced European city of during this time. Your guide will begin the tour inside the mosque, converted into a cathedral after the Reconquest in 1236. Next, wander the Jewish Quarters, known for their jewelers, strolling among the whitewashed houses and red gardenias so well-known in southern Spanish architecture. End the tour of Córdoba with a visit to one of the few remaining synagogues in Spain. Finally, return to your hotel with your driver after lunch.
