Day trip to Chinchón and Aranjuez:

Meet your guide and driver for a day away from the hustle and bustle of Madrid as you visit Chinchon and Aranjuez. Begin with a visit to Aranjuez Palace and gardens. This royal residence overlooks the Tajo River. The original plan for the palace was begun by Emperor Charles V of Germany and I of Spain.

After a full visit, continue to nearby Chinchón to see the enchanting town and its people. We’ll enter one of the family-run wine “bodegas”; wine cellars with grape presses dating to Roman times.  Have a rustic meal here with rustic service.

To settle your stomach after lunch, take a stroll through the town to Plaza Mayor and learn about the famous liquor named after Chinchón.  Try a glass combined with the local sweet pastries in the plaza.  You’ll be back in Madrid before dinner.
