Almeria Weekend Getaway

Day 1 – Almeria

Meet your driver for the ride to Almeria. As you arrive on the Tropical Coast, check in at your hotel and leave your luggage. Continue with your driver for the ride to Tabernas, the most unique desert you will find in all of Europe. Here, you will visit MiniHollywood, a theme park where you can see how movies are made and the backdrop of many of your favorite western films. The park has about 800 animals, a pool zone and a lot of restaurants. After this, return to the hotel for siesta time.
In the evening, meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a tapas tour of the old town as you pass by Almeria Cathedral, Alcazaba fortress and Nicolás Salmerón Park.

Day 2 – Cabo de Gata

In the morning meet your driver for the short ride to Agua Amarga. Saddle up and take a horseback ride on the beautiful shores of Cabo de Gata Natural Park. Ride through the hills to a hidden cove. Take some time on your own for lunch before going back to Granada.

Once you are ready to book, we’ll take a non-refundable 30% booking deposit and start reserving hotels, the best guides, drivers, tickets and activities. You’ll get a specific version of the itinerary with timings, contact information and meeting points. Final payment is 90 days before you arrive.

We’ll have your itinerary, vouchers and tickets waiting at your first hotel as you arrive.  While you’re on tour, our team will be available by phone 24-7 for anything you need.
