Take a day to steep in the history of the Moors and Alhambra legends.

Meet your driver for the ride to Granada. Once you arrive, meet your guide at the entrance to the Alhambra for a complete visit of the 11^th wonder of the world. Some parts of the Alhambra Forbidden City you’ll visit include the Gardens of Paradise, Alcazar Fortress and the renowned Nasrid Palaces . This is where Washington Irving, the famous US Ambassador, spent several years writing “Tales of the Alhambra”.  Your guide will tell you many other legends about commoners and sultans that have arisen from this emblematic stronghold.

After your tour, taste a typical Andalusian lunch in a small village nearby. Over lunch, watch the “Alhambra Legends Musical”. You’ll see the end of Moorish reign as the Spaniards conquer the Arabic kingdom. The tale is told with wonderful Arabic dances, flamenco feeling and a horse dancing show.

As the musical ends, your driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.

Once you are ready to book, we’ll take a non-refundable 30% booking deposit and start reserving hotels, the best guides, drivers, tickets and activities. You’ll get a specific version of the itinerary with timings, contact information and meeting points. Final payment is 90 days before you arrive.
