You did a great job of creating the trip that we requested, exploring history and culture, tasting and cooking with the local foods and exploration of the hills and terrain. - Sorry to take so long to get back to you but I was having problems with my laptop and it was in the shop for several days. I did want to take the time and give you some feedback – all good. It was a delight to travel with you and take the tour you set up for us. I liked all the hotels you selected for us, especially the fact that they were all in the old town areas. As for breakfasts, they were good and very similar but the breakfasts at Hotel Maimonides had the best selection of pastries 😉. The Ladron del Agua was the most unique and historic and charming. I really liked the flamenco show in Granada. The food was good and the show excellent. All the tour guides were good, especially helpful and delightful were Marta in Seville, Miriam in Granada and Carlos in Barcelona. My personal favorite city was Seville. The train rides were easy, fast and comfortable and we got to have conversations with people who sat near us. I really liked the time with a tour guide and then plenty of time by ourselves to explore each city/town. I had a several opportunities to practice some Spanish and it’s encouraged me to continue studying. While in Spain I was reading a book called The Queen’s Vow about the life and times of Queen Isabella. That made it all the more real for me. Thank you for a great trip. -Roxann F. USA

- Just a note to tell you how much we enjoyed the 2 days with Carlos and Joaquin.As you know I had a problem the first day but Carlos did everything he could to help me through the situation. The next day we travelled to Montserrat and he explained in great detail the land marks and points of interest as we drove. Joaquin told us a great deal on our initial drive from the airport and contributed very well as needed on our drive on Friday. Both of them represent your company extremely well. - Good morning Emily, We had a wonderful day visiting the Alhambra. Both David and Miriam were wonderful. David was very kind and an excellent driver. Miriam was very knowledgeable and her tour was excellent. She maneuvered around both small and large groups of tourists to give us great views of the grounds and also to get to quieter areas to talk. - Thank you. We are home now with fantastic memories. Even with the rain we had a wonderful time! Both guides were excellent (M. at the Alhambra and Carl in Gibraltar). We also enjoyed having the chauffeur David, very much! He recommended a 1-star Michelin restaurant in Rhonda, called Bardal, that we drove ourselves to for lunch and it was outstanding- a real “foodie” experience- with 21 courses and a very relaxed 4 hours. It was something out of Chef’s Table, the Netflix series. (It could have been.) If you want photos to add this restaurant to one of your tours, let me know! We were all set to leave Spain but our Aer Lingus flight was cancelled due to snow in Dublin where we had a stopover. We spent entire day at Malaga airport and found a flight through Lisbon Portugal with TAP airline. We spent the night in Lisbon at an elegant wonderful hotel called Corintiha. It just added to our amazing vacation. Will definitely book with South Ole Tours in the future. I so want to bring my young adult children with us next time. Thanks too, for making me look so good! My husband and guests were impressed with the tours and my having organized them (haha- you did that part!).
