These are our Porto Day Trips:

An important factor to the existence of the city and it’s economy is the Douro River.  Boats go up and down the river. Wine grows on its shore. Fishermen make a living with their catch, and the water creates a subclimate. One of our star day trips from Porto is the Douro River Valley for wine tasting and village hopping.  The Atlantic Coast is also a great place to visit to see tiled cities like Viana do Castelo.  Get out in Nature in the Peneda-Geres Natural Park.  Try hiking, kayaking, white water rafting or just picnicking. Finally, you can also visit grand old palaces in Guimaraes, climb stairs to heaven in Bom Jesus or visit Celtic ruins in Citania do Briteiros.

Call us or send us an email with your initial request. Be sure to include dates for your Porto day trip, approximate budget per person and information on how you like to travel and what you like to see.

We’ll create a day-by-day trip plan for you to look over. This trip plan can be modified as many times as needed until it’s perfect.

Once you are ready to book, we’ll take a non-refundable 25% booking deposit and start reserving hotels, the best guides, drivers, tickets and activities. You’ll get a specific version of the itinerary with timings, contact information and meeting points. Final payment is 90 days before you arrive.

We’ll have your itinerary, vouchers and tickets waiting at your first hotel in Porto as you arrive.  While you’re on tour, our team will be available by phone 24-7 for anything you need.
