Our northern Spain day trips take you to off-the-beaten path places. While not as well-known, they are just as beautiful as other parts of Spain and rich in history and culture. Come experience the Basque Country, Asturias, Cantabria and Galicia.

With green mountains and a fierce blue sea, northern Spain has always produced strong, independent people. Here Spanish is spoken, alongside Basque and Galician. It is a mystical place, beginning with St. James Way and including all the caves, castles and churches.

Local gastronomy includes hearty stews, hot broths, fresh seafood, cheese aged in caves, the best beef on the peninsula and many varieties of wine! A cooking class or a pintxo tour are perfect to get to know the food yourself.

How it works:

Call us or send us an email with your initial request. Be sure to include dates for your northern day Spain trip, approximate budget per person and information on how you like to travel and what you like to see.

We’ll create a day-by-day trip plan for you to look over. This trip plan can be modified as many times as needed until it’s perfect.

Once you are ready to book, we’ll take a 25% booking deposit and start reserving hotels, the best guides, drivers, tickets and activities. You’ll get a specific version of the itinerary with timings, contact information and meeting points. Final payment is 90 days before you arrive.

We’ll have your itinerary, vouchers and tickets waiting at your first hotel in northern Spain.  While you’re on tour, our team will be available by phone 24-7 for anything you need.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
